Wellness by God's Design explores His Word as to what God wants us to put into our bodies to be in good health. "In fact, God not only tells us how to feed our bodies, He even mandates. And why would God mandate that we take care of our Temples? It is not just a matter of having health so we can be free of disease and feel good, the reason is because we are here on earth as Christians to further the Kingdom of God (Ambassadors for Christ) - Working for eternal value. If we don't have health, we are of no value to the work of the ministry," Dr. Joel Robbins. The Holy Spirit will not have a place to indwell in this world if WE (God's people) don't take care of the Temple (our bodies). "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
1 Corinthians 6:19, 20
Diets are temporary and so are the results. This is a life-style change - one that can save your life. "...I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life and the length of they days:..." Deuteronomy 30:19,20
Learn what foods are harming us and learn biblical principles that can influence us to make better choices, change our palates, be healthier, and reduce the risk of disease. Please feel free to share your comments or testimonies. Let's have fun and fellowship as we explore God's dietary laws.
Wellness By God's Design is simply a resource of Healthy Lifestyles from a Christian's perspective, food for thought, etc. It is not meant to be judgemental or condemning in any way. It's simply presented to you...what you chose to do with the information is between you and God. May God bless you and keep you and let His face shine upon YOU!
WHOSE HOUSE
We're given temporary residence
in a vulnerable house of clay,
without a lease or promise of time
eviction could come any day.
Since the longest residency is brief,
how careful and wise we should be
to occupy each short golden moment
in the light of eternity.
And nurture the clay house diligently
even though it came from a clod,
for the King graces it with His presence
to become the Temple of God!
